I’ve been blessed to be photographing newborns for 15 years now and am still learning, practicing and trying new things every day. There is always something new to learn and/or improve.  I value education and love sharing my knowledge with others to help them succeed.  I had the opportunity to travel to Iowa and meet an incredible photographer for a 2-day “Learn on Your Turf” 1:1 mentoring session.  It was so great to work side by side in her studio, with her equipment and focus on the things that she specifically wanted to learn and improve.  We got to work with some darling families, children and newborn babies, including this cutie!!!!!  Look at that smile!!!!!!

Hi friends!  Recently I was featured in “Shoutout Atlanta” and got to share a few words about my work and my story. 2021 WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello photography friends!!!!!!!  I’ve had lots of inquiries about small group newborn workshops and other educational opportunities I’m offering THIS YEAR, especially since I had to cancel 7 workshop dates and locations in 2020 due to Covid.   I’m overjoyed to announce that I will be offering 2 workshops this year!!!!!!  In June 2021 I’ll be in Georgetown Kentucky, and then in August I’ll be in Missouri at the Intuition Backgrounds by Becky Gregory studio!!!!!  Information on both workshops and what is included can be found here.  I hope to see some new AND some familiar faces this year.  Contact me with questions or to arrange a payment plan, I am more than happy to help!

Caralee Case Photography – Newborn Photography Workshop in Manhatten Beach California

The 2-day photography workshop in Manhatten Beach, California (back in early March, before the pandemic) was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! First of all, I got to meet and hang out with these awesome, fun and talented women: And second, we got to meet and photograph 4 beautiful new babies and one darn cute sitter. Third, we got lots of great practice with lighting, posing, finding the right angle, composition, exposure, white balance, posing flow and so much more! Meet the fantastic and talented ladies from the Jacksonville, Florida Workshop!!! These girls were SO MUCH FUN and helped make the workshop a great experience! Actually, an unforgettable and amazing 2 days together!!! This group was excited to learn, enthusiastic, funny, positive, kind and had great questions too. How do I get so lucky to have such wonderful students? LOVE these girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were patient with me when the babies were not happy as I worked to pose them. Thank goodness we had baby Cotton to work with when we had some down time. 🙂 Isn’t she pretty?

Caralee Case Photography – Newborn Photography Workshop in Perryville, Missouri

I cannot even begin to explain all the fun that I had at the two Perryville, Missouri Workshops at the Intuition Backgrounds Studio. First of all, it was fun to see how the backdrops are printed and shipped. It was fun to be able print a custom backdrop to use at the workshop. And it was awesome that we got to shop from Intuition’s prop stash and hundreds of Birdie Baby Boutique headbands. Our newborn workshop models were beautiful, all the students were able to take pictures and practice by my side, and…these girls were FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meet the girls from the 2nd Perryville, Missouri Workshop!  We had SO MUCH FUN during the workshop at the Intuition Backgrounds Studio!!!!!!!  Can’t you tell?  These girls were just as awesome, fun, kind, talented and hilarious as group 1.  SO many laughs, great models, lots of time to practice, and these girls soaked it all in!  I love meeting the students, and through our time together, leave as friends.  We keep in touch through our workshop Facebook group, to continue learning, helping and supporting each other.

Caralee Case Photography – Newborn Photography Workshop in Austin, Texas

Talk about FUN…these lovely ladies attended the workshop in Austin, TX (technically in Round Rock, TX).  In case you can’t tell by our group picture, we had such a great time!!!!!!!!!  We learned a lot, laughed a lot, photographed gorgeous newborn models, edited, had several ‘AH-HA!’ moments, and learned some ‘life changing tips’, as described by one student.  Nothing makes me happier than to hear those types of things from my students.  I truly care about each and every student, and want to help them in any way I can to improve their businesses AND their lives.

I can’t wait to show you all the beautiful models we worked with.  More pictures to come soon!!!!!

Student Workshop Review ~ Caralee Case Photography

I have been teaching photography workshops since 2012, and it has been amazing!! Watching ‘my’ students grow, hone their craft, and reach the level of quality and success they desire makes me SO happy. I say ‘my’ students, because I love and care about EACH ONE of my students! Even long after our workshop has taken place, I’m there to continue the learning and support of the students; to be their cheerleader, advisor, friend, brainstorm helper, an ear to vent their troubles too, whatever they need. I LOVE teaching!!! It is in my heart, it is in my blood, I am passionate about it, and I strive to always give 150%!
