It was such a joy to be able to teach at the Sept 2017 Creative Captures Photography Workshop! Once again, we gathered with an awesome, fun, talented group of photographers at Jennifer Nace’s studio in Waseca, MN!!! Our models were super sweet and cooperative, and the weekend was full of learning, inspiration, creativity, and so much more!!!! We photographed several handsome boys on day 1, working on several different poses and lighting techniques for newborns:

We also worked with precious little Finley on day 1, and learned about lighting, camera settings, styling, and interacting with children.  Miss Finley wasn’t sure about giving us smiles, but her serious expressions are darling too.  🙂

Such a fun group of ladies!!!  I love making new friends that enjoy photography as much as I do.  It’s wonderful to have a support system in this industry. On day 2 we photographed more beautiful newborn babies, and worked on posing, transitioning, lighting, angles, exposure, color, working with props, wrapping and more.  This time, it was the girls turn!

And we also photographed a cake smash!  Jennifer Nace is so creative with her cake smash set ups, and this one was no exception.  Every details was on point.  And out little model was just too cute for words!
