J’s mom has always LOVED soccer! She is super good at the sport, attended the World Cup in Brazil to cheer on her favorite teams, and is a high school soccer coach too!!!! So I just had to surprise her with a cute outfit I found and my super fun soccer backdrop/floor!
J really enjoyed smashing his birthday cake! He had a few bites but his favorite thing to do was smash it, throw cake around, and offer to share it with his mom and I. What a sweet boy!

I’m wrapping up all my fall outdoor sessions so the Christmas cards can head out this week! 🙂 The weather was wonderful this fall, the colors were amazing, and it felt so good to get out of the house!!! It’s been too long, and the fresh air made me feel like a real personal again. And working with this awesome group of humans was so fun, exciting and silly! What a great day and a great family!

I am so grateful that Intuition Backgrounds invited me to create a collection of backdrops. I knew immediately that I wanted polka dot backdrops in my most used and requested colors!!!! And here they are…..introducing Perfectly Polka Dots:
These backdrops are SO MUCH FUN!!!! I have been searching for the perfect shade of pink, something that reminds me of fresh raspberries, and it’s finally here!!!! It photographs beautifully!
I love a tack sharp image with a dreamy, soft, blurry backdrop. Compared to the rest of the backdrops in my studio, I made this one a little more green and the color is simply divine!!!!!!!
This soft purple is a wonderful lavender color:
The denim dots are a MUST HAVE for every studio! Of course this beautiful blue is perfect for boys, but it is just as perfect for GIRLS!!!!! This is my most used and requested backdrop!
This backdrop is a soft bubblegum pink color. It’s not too warm and not too cool, just a pretty and precious shade of baby pink.
Another one of my most requested backdrops is Young Love. I’ve always thought is was the perfect shade of yellow.
The new yellow polka backdrop is a bit softer and more gender friendly (no hearts!), but still a beautiful shade of yellow!!!! Add a little saturation in post processing if you like to make the yellow polka dots as bright as you’d like!!!! This backdrop adds sunshine to any set, and works for all genders!!!!!!Looking for the perfect purple? Well here it is! Purple meets a touch of pink in this backdrop to create a beautiful shade of lavender.

Not long ago I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby Axel. He was so small and SO adorable…
Now Axel is 7 months old, and I don’t know how it is possible, but he is even MORE adorable now!!!!! He is so happy and smiley, and he is sure loved by his 2 big sisters. These siblings were just awesome!!! The girls must pose for lots of pictures at home, as they are both naturals in front of the camera! What a pleasure to photograph these 3 beautiful children!

Covid-19 has certainly changed things for my business. One blessing of the stay at home order is that I am nearly caught up with editing ALL my client images and workshop images from Nov 2019 to March 2020!!!!!! I stretched myself quite thin in 2019, and I paid for it (mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally). I’m looking forward to starting over in 2020 and getting back to what I love, at a pace that I have learned is better for me. I’m working on website updates to keep busy, and just realized I didn’t get to share this sweet girl, Sage, who is 5 years old. I LOVE this age!!!! Bring me ALL the 5 year olds! LOL They are so sweet, funny, and take direction so well. Isn’t she a cutie?!?!

Meet Ruby! She is 7 months old and was an absolute joy to photograph!!!! This little sweetheart has a smile that will light up a room! It was fun for Ruby to arrive at the studio and for her mama to pick adorable outfits and headbands from my prop room to dress up in. I love being able to offer this option to all my clients! These two kiddos are so fun to photograph!!!! Avery and Weston pretty much grew up in front of my camera so taking a few quick pics is no big deal for them. And they are great at coming up with their own funny poses and facial expressions! Avery and Weston both have birthdays coming up so it’s time for some updated images!
