I’ve been blessed to be photographing newborns for 15 years now and am still learning, practicing and trying new things every day. There is always something new to learn and/or improve. I value education and love sharing my knowledge with others to help them succeed. I had the opportunity to travel to Iowa and meet an incredible photographer for a 2-day “Learn on Your Turf” 1:1 mentoring session. It was so great to work side by side in her studio, with her equipment and focus on the things that she specifically wanted to learn and improve. We got to work with some darling families, children and newborn babies, including this cutie!!!!! Look at that smile!!!!!!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I last saw Delilah as a newborn!!!! She was such an adorable baby with the best hair, most kissable cheeks and the cutest back wrinkles. And now she has grown up into a beautiful little lady! She still has amazingly awesome hair, it’s so long for a 1 year old. My kids were bald until 3 years old!!!!!! And those eyes…..they are bright blue and stunning. I hope you enjoy a little look at Delilah’s birthday photos, and her sweet adorable expressions!!!!!
Did you know that I have an entire closet full of clothing and accessories for children, boys AND girls?!?!?!? All the outfits and headbands Delilah is rocking are from my prop closet. I love to be able to offer this option for my clients. I know it can be stressful (and expensive) to shop for clothing, and wonder what will look good in photographs. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!!!!!
And since her birthday is in November we did a fun fall-inspired set up with pinks and oranges. Delilah thought those pumpkins were pretty cool to play with!

Meet one of sports newest super fans….Salinger, 18 days new and such a sweet and handsome little man! Softball and baseball are especially meaningful to his family and we had fun incorporating that into some of Salinger’s newborn images. What an adorable little slugger!!!!!!!!
Basketball is another family favorite and I loved creating this special image of Salinger on the basketball court!
This baby boy was such a good sleeper we got lots of other fun images to remember how small and adorable he was just after birth, and he held a special stuffed animal made by grandma too!

Meet Jensen, born on May the 4th 2023 weighing in at 7 pounds and 8 ounces. He is SO sweet, and SO incredibly cute. Silly story, many cinema fans all around the world recognize May 4th as Star Wars Day!!!! It stems from a famous line in nearly all of the Star Wars films, “May the force be with you”. As a result…”May the 4th be with you” is now a popular phrase, meme, .GIF that takes over social media on May 4th. So we just HAD to take a few Star Wars inspired photos to celebrate his special and unique birthday. It was too fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
During Jensen’s newborn portrait session at my studio in Idaho Falls, ID we also took lots of photographs using fun colors and props that his mama was excited about. We got a wonderful variety of images of baby Jensen, and all his cuteness!!!! Especially those gorgeous cheeks!!!!!

This handsome little guy is Dion. He was just 2 weeks old and 7 pounds when I had the chance to meet and photograph him. He loved being all wrapped up and cuddled, and was so happy to just sleep the day away.
I think baby Dion is going to be a great helper for his daddy in the shop/garage, he is already getting to know lots of tools!

A blog post with DOUBLE the fun because we get DOUBLE the cuteness!!!!!! These beautiful twin girls are McKayla (4lbs 11oz & 18.5in) and Leah (4lbs 10oz & 18in). After some time in the hospital I finally got to meet them in the studio at 4.5 weeks old and they were still so small and precious! They enjoyed being next to each other and were just so sweet my heart melted into a giant puddle of goo. I feel so blessed to be able to work with incredible tiny humans, just being around them fills my heart and my life with joy.
