Rowan is ONE YEAR OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, this year has really gone by fast. It feels like just yesterday that this sweet girl was a tiny little newborn.
And now she is 12 months old and can crawl, stand up to things, and took some of her first steps alone in the studio!!!!!!! What a beautiful girl. Happy birthday Rowan, you are the sweetest and have awesome smiles and facial expressions!

I would love to introduce you to this beautiful, sweet, calm and sleepy 11-day-old baby girl! Her name is Scout!!!!! She was such a joy to photograph at my studio in Idaho Falls, ID. We had fun during her Newborn Portrait Session and got SO many fun images and set ups! Scout was wonderful all day long, and when it was big brother’s turn for a few pictures, he was SO CUTE!!!!!! I am so grateful that Intuition Backgrounds invited me to create a collection of backdrops. I knew immediately that I wanted polka dot backdrops in my most used and requested colors!!!! And here they are…..introducing Perfectly Polka Dots:
These backdrops are SO MUCH FUN!!!! I have been searching for the perfect shade of pink, something that reminds me of fresh raspberries, and it’s finally here!!!! It photographs beautifully!
I love a tack sharp image with a dreamy, soft, blurry backdrop. Compared to the rest of the backdrops in my studio, I made this one a little more green and the color is simply divine!!!!!!!
This soft purple is a wonderful lavender color:
The denim dots are a MUST HAVE for every studio! Of course this beautiful blue is perfect for boys, but it is just as perfect for GIRLS!!!!! This is my most used and requested backdrop!
This backdrop is a soft bubblegum pink color. It’s not too warm and not too cool, just a pretty and precious shade of baby pink.
Another one of my most requested backdrops is Young Love. I’ve always thought is was the perfect shade of yellow.
The new yellow polka backdrop is a bit softer and more gender friendly (no hearts!), but still a beautiful shade of yellow!!!! Add a little saturation in post processing if you like to make the yellow polka dots as bright as you’d like!!!! This backdrop adds sunshine to any set, and works for all genders!!!!!!Looking for the perfect purple? Well here it is! Purple meets a touch of pink in this backdrop to create a beautiful shade of lavender.

Hello there, beautiful birthday girl!!!! This sweetheart holds a special place in my heart, and I feel so blessed to have been able to capture her and her fun, serious, happy and sometimes sassy personality. She has it all!!!!!! I loved working with her, and chasing her all over the studio. I had some brand new polka dot backdrops to photograph, so she helped me out tremendously by modeling with them. I’m calling her one year session “the perfect polka dot portrait session”! Ha Ha Ha Isn’t she a DOLL??????

Someone sweet is turning ONE!!! This handsome little dude is Blaze, and he is SO adorable. He has a beautiful smile that can light up the room, and incredibly mesmerizing eyes. He enjoyed playing with the baseballs and bat during his birthday portrait session at my studio in Idaho Falls, ID. And the fun continued into his baseball themed cake smash! Not long ago I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby Axel. He was so small and SO adorable…
Now Axel is 7 months old, and I don’t know how it is possible, but he is even MORE adorable now!!!!! He is so happy and smiley, and he is sure loved by his 2 big sisters. These siblings were just awesome!!! The girls must pose for lots of pictures at home, as they are both naturals in front of the camera! What a pleasure to photograph these 3 beautiful children!

Zoe is back for her 1st birthday!!!!!!!!! It seems like yesterday I took this cutie’s 6 month photos:And now she is ONE YEAR OLD!!!!! I love to see how much she has grown in just 6 months. Zoe didn’t know what to make of her cake at first glance, she approached it cautiously…but she really got into it and made a wonderful mess! You know me, the messier the better!!!!!! I’m pretty sure she enjoyed that first donut she took from the top of the cake. I have to admit….they were delicious, soft, flaky, melt-in-your mouth donuts! I just HAD to sample one for quality control purposes! Well, maybe more than one. LOL
